PM Modi hands out 70,000 appointment letters during the Rozgar Mela.

The recruitments are being conducted with the collaboration of central government departments, state governments, and Union Territories. The newly selected candidates from all over the country will be appointed to different ministries and departments.

The Rozgar Mela was organized at 44 locations across the country. The recruitments are being supported by central government departments, state governments, and Union Territories. The newly selected candidates from all over the country will be appointed to various ministries and departments.

Addressing the appointees, PM Modi stated, “During the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, as the country progresses on the path of development, it is a great honor to have the opportunity to work as a government employee. The people of this country have resolved to make India a developed nation.”

PM Modi extended his congratulations to the recruits and their families on this momentous occasion.

Regarding India’s growing banking sector, PM Modi said, “Today, India is considered to have one of the strongest banking sectors in the world, but it wasn’t the case nine years ago… Our banking sector suffered significant damage during the previous government’s tenure.”

Taking a dig at the previous government, Modi mentioned that during their rule, the banking sector witnessed substantial destruction.

“Presently, we can carry out digital transactions, but nine years ago, phone banking wasn’t accessible to 1.4 billion people. Those close to a ‘specific’ family would call banks and secure loans worth thousands of crores, which were never repaid. This ‘phone banking scam’ was one of the biggest scandals during the previous government’s regime,” Modi informed the appointees.

He further emphasized that the next 25 years are crucial for India as the country aims to be among the world’s top three economies, indicating an increase in employment opportunities and per capita income for citizens.

He mentioned that in the last nine years, India has risen from being the 10th largest economy to the 5th largest economy.

The selected appointees will have the opportunity to enhance their skills through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This platform provides access to over 580 e-learning courses, accessible from anywhere.

Last year, PM Modi launched the first phase of Rozgar Mela, initiating the campaign to provide 10 lakh government jobs.
