The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2023 Exam, originally planned for tomorrow, May 7, 2023, is now rescheduled. In a tweet, ANI reported that the Ministry of Education’s Minister of State, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, had written to the National Testing Agency (NTA) requesting them to explore the possibility of rescheduling the exam considering the situation in Manipur. As a result, the NEET (UG)-2023 exam for candidates allocated examination centers in Manipur will be held at a later date.

Candidates who were originally supposed to appear for the NEET UG 2023 exam in Manipur should take note of this postponement and await further announcements regarding the new examination date for the region. The rest of the exam will proceed as scheduled at various exam centers across India.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet announced the revised date for conducting exams in Manipur. Once the new exam date is finalized, the NTA will also release the revised admit cards for the candidates. In all other states and union territories, the NEET UG 2023 exam will proceed as scheduled tomorrow, on May 7, 2023. Candidates are encouraged to review the provided “Do’s and Don’ts” and adhere to the dress code guidelines, which can be found on the official website. The exam will take place from 2 pm to 5:20 pm, and the exam center formalities will begin at 11 am. It is advisable for students appearing for the exam to arrive well in advance for the frisking process at the exam venue.
